The character sketches for the FOX from Disney's Pinocchio© show lots of character and facial expression.
Compare this sketch of Daisy Duck with the sketches of Clarabelle above. Artitst copied styles of presentation all the time because the information
that needed to be communitcated is similar for most characters. You should do the same sort of layout styles as all the above examples suggest.
